After the brigade system was established there were three moves in the next few years:

The Forester Brigade was dissolved in 1963 and the regiments were distributed into other brigades which resulted in one change of title.

The regiments in a brigade were encouraged to amalgamate into one large regiment. Some did.

In about 1968 every brigade was reduced by one battalion. In the large regiments this was of course met internal in the regiment. In the other brigades two regiments choose to be disbanded and there were three amalgamations. One more amalgamation was called off in the last moment. The brigade system was then abandoned and larger administrative Divisions were created out of them.
