The Volunteers of the Divisions, Royal Artillery 1882-89

In 1882 all Artillery Volunteer Corps were attached to one of the eleven territorial Divisions, Royal Artillery.

In 1886/87 the Volunteer Corps of the Eastern, Cinque Ports, Southern and Western Division, Royal Artillery were redesignated as Volunteer Brigades sequentialy numbered within their Division.

In 1889 the divisions were regrouped into three large divisions.
