For the French Revolutionary War the ballot for the order of precedence was drawn in 1793 and was
fixed for ten years.
In the same year 1793 militia was raised in Ireland and the thirty-eight regiments got a county order of precedence number by ballot.
In 1798 ten militia regiments were raised in Scotland, numbered as North British Militia by ballot.
The numbers in the first column show the order of precedence of the county.
